Through extensive experience in the Litigation Support and Publishing fields, AMWORK has developed the staff and techniques to provide fast, accurate data entry for all types of documents, including coded forms, full text of all types including charts, depositions, and manuscripts using embedded codes for typesetting purposes, including charts, etc. Manuscripts do not have to be fully coded, as experienced AMWORK operators will supply the repetitive embedded codes.

AMWORK supplies Data Entry at the lowest possible cost. All work is guaranteed both as to delivery and accuracy. All data is keyed/verified for 99.95% accuracy under a cost-penalty agreement.

Experience - Since 1984, AMWORK has been a major data entry supplier to the leading Litigation Support and Publishing firms. (See Client References below.) Keying or OCR of all types of coded forms, full text, depositions, etc., and supplying data in all types of formats, including Inmagic, BRS, Summation, Concordance, Access, WordPerfect, Word, etc., to mainframe BASIS, and typesetting services.

Location - AMWORK's data entry is done either at Aurora, Illinois, or at our Bangladesh location. Data and documents are returned promptly, and security is maintained as work is sent offshore to Bangladesh only with client approval.

Facilities - AMWORK can accept documents, either paper or image files on CD-ROM, by facsimile, courier delivery, or express services. AMWORK can return data by modem, or overnight delivery of diskettes, CD-ROM, cartridge tape, or 9-track tapes. Weekly capacity is 20,000,000 characters.

Internet/Modem Data Transmission - AMWORK offers data return by Internet or modem for all turn-around times. Internet transmission consists of broadband data access via Amwork's FTP server or email transfers. Modem transmission consists of 56K bps modems using KERMIT software for direct transmission to mainframes, or via HYPR-ACCESS or ONLAN software to dedicated servers, for which AMWORK pays all line charges.

Scanning & OCR - AMWORK has extensive experience in scanning services with output to any Image Format and/or low cost OCR at 99.9% accuracy. In any document set, documents which are not suitable for OCR are hand keyed. Client does not have to determine which documents are suitable for OCR.

Programming - AMWORK's programming staff utilizes BASIC, C, and Cobol languages. Specialized production programs guarantee accurate formats for word wrapping – either full word or character, field validation, name or term expansion, etc. For example, text fields as long as 64,000 characters can be intermixed with normal 80 character records.

Formats - Any and all formats are available, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Input programs are customized to provide data in the format required by database management program and type of computer. Any record size up to 64,000 characters can be accommodated. Keying can be done in all upper case or upper and lower case, using all ASCII characters supported by the IBM character set.

Accuracy - AMWORK guarantees 99.95% accurate data in a timely fashion. Once time schedules are agreed upon, AMWORK guarantees delivery of data and accuracy under a cost-penalty contract. Quality assurance programs of present clients, indicate accuracy to be consistently in the range of 99.98 to 99.99%. AMWORK guarantees same day response to unusual problems, has the ability to write special programs to identify and correct same. Defective tapes or diskettes are immediately replaced at AMWORK's expense.

Security and Document Control - AMWORK has Justice Department Clearance for handling sensitive documents such as Grand Jury testimony, criminal cases, etc. In addition all of AMWORK's employees are covered by strict security agreements. Careful document control insures that all documents received are coded, entered and returned with each batch of data.

Backup - AMWORK maintains under client ownership and control, backup of all data involved in a database to completion of contract.
